Reading Tests
A few times throughout the year fluency tests are given to the students. They are timed and scored on their ability to read as many words correctly as possible within one minute.
Surprise Storyteller
If you would like to surprise our class by reading them a story one afternoon, please feel free to contact Miss Hintz.
Snack Attack!
A 2nd grade favorite is Snack Attack. This can be a fun, yet messy job. About every 8 weeks the kids get to cook. I need helpers for prepping the food, help preparing, and with clean up.
Book Orders
If anyone is interested in pulling a part Book Order forms and stapling them together with reminder sheets that would be awesome. It's an easy job but really takes a load off of everything else going on in this crazy class.
