Decodable Reader
Our reading progam is by the Rowland Reading Foundation.
Super Kids - Rowland Reading Foundation
The decodable reader is set up as a chapter book where throughout the year, we read about the Superkids who are now in second grade. The Superkids go through lots of typical second grade situations.
The word workbook is used for our language arts and spelling lessons that we do in class. If a page is not finished it may be completed as homework.
Backpack pages are assigned usually everyday except on days when there is a spelling test.
Spelling tests occur every five lessons. A new list is distributed the day of the test and has the next test date on the list.
