This was me when I was your age.

I was born in the Mid-West but I grew up in Southern California.
Sometimes the beginning of the school year can be exciting and yet scary. I want you to be able to get to know me just like I will be getting to know all of you! This is going to be my 4th year teaching. It will also be the start of my 4th year living in Wisconsin! Read below to find out more about where I use to live and what my favorite things are.
Get to know Miss Hintz
I love sports. The Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim are my favorite baseball team. I also played volleyball, basketball, and softball when I was in school. I coach volleyball and basketball now for the Rockets.
This is a picture of my grandpa, my brother, and me. I have only one brother and no sisters.

I love to travel and see new places! I have been all over the United States. I have also been blessed to have been able to travel to Japan, Mexico, Canada, and Guatemala.
I've traveled to Guatemala 4 times. In Guatemala, I volunteered for an organization called El Corazon del Servidor -- The Servant's Heart. I worked with men, women and children sharing God's love through English classes, soup kitchens, Bible studies, house visits and more. I also had the opportunity to go to Spanish school.
I went to Concordia University Irvine, in Southern California where I graduated with a degree in Liberal Studies. I worked on campus as the World Missions Coordinator and then later I took the role as Communications director.

My favorite place to go is either up in the mountains or down by the beach.
If I had a pet, I would choose a dog, but my favorite animal at a zoo are the lions.

My favorite food is pizza with pepperoni, pinneapple, and jalapenos.

I'm not a fan of fried fish but I recently discovered that I do like sushi!

Believe it or not I've even tried octopus!
